eurotripping: venezia.

A couple months ago, I hopped on a plane to London and thus began my adventures in Europe. The first 12 days of my trip was spent cruising around the Mediterranean with my parents and our first stop was Venice, Italy.

We didn’t have a lot of time in Venice before the cruise began so we packed as much as we could in a day. In order to see Venice in a day, we got some 12-hour transit passes so we could hop on and off the “vaporetto” water taxis as much as we wanted.

In the limited amount of time that we had, we were basically ticking off all of the big attractions in Venice: Piazza San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs, Doge’s Palace, the Rialto Bridge, the Canal Grande, and so forth. I really liked the view from the clock tower on the Isolda di San Giorgio and the Peggy Guggenheim collection was nice as well.
