Prêt à Manger: Boulevard's Sunday Seafood Boil Series

 

Great food, great company and great conversations. Does it get any better than that? I'd say probably not!

A couple of evenings ago, I had the chance to try Boulevard's seafood boil before its official launch on July 10 thanks to the good people at Shelley McArthur Communications. We began with a delicious summer salad (mine included burrata cheese instead of an egg) and then moved onto the main event.

Our servers came out and poured the contents of the boil into the large silver bowls on our table. It was crawfish, jumbo prawns, mussels, and crab galore! Although I'm a weakling when it comes to anything spicy, the slightly spicy but flavourful broth had me wanting more.

A blueberry and lemon curd tart rounded out the meal, making for a refreshing palate cleanser. And anytime a dessert is egg-free, I will gladly eat all of it up.
