An Introduction

I've long put off the notion of having a blog for a myriad of reasons. I blamed it on not being able to commit to consistent content, the fact that blogs are ubiquitous, and so forth. If I'm being honest, they were all just excuses. 

So, here I am. I'm finally launching a blog component to my website (which is really just an online portfolio) with the hopes of sharing a handful of my thoughts, experiences, and travels with those of you who kindly give the things I do a sliver of your attention.
